The Emergency Department at Tyler County Hospital is open seven days a week, and staffed with highly trained providers certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Our licensed nurses are on duty around the clock to provide our patients with compassion and advanced health care.
Designated as a Level IV Trauma Center by the state of Texas since 2004, Tyler County Hospital's Emergency Room features a highly trained staff. The hospital is surveyed every three years to maintain its Level IV Trauma designation.
As a Level IV Trauma center, major and severe trauma patients are met on arrival to the Emergency Room by a team of healthcare professionals. When you or a loved one requires emergency services you will receive a thorough evaluation, diagnosis and treatment by our highly trained staff. We are committed to providing immediate care, 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week to people with injuries that range from minor incidents to major accidents.
