JOB SUMMARY: The IT Assistant will assist in the implementation and maintenance of all equipment and software related to the retention, printing, and transfer of electronic documents and records.
ESSENTIAL TASKS/DUTIES:

As instructed:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, or through the ticketing system.
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
- Walk the employee through the problem-solving process
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Record events, problems, and their resolution
- Follow up and update customer status and information
- Provides assistance in the use of computer hardware, software, and specialized server technology or operates a multi-platform computer environment or monitors the production scheduling, execution, and successful completion of production jobs;
- Sets up and configures desktop computers, peripherals, and accounts assigning security level;
- Installs software and installs and repairs hardware and peripherals;
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines, and/or escalates to other technical resources as appropriate;
- Maintains systems, databases, and web pages;
- Administers user accounts;
- Designs and produces basic reports;
- Security camera installation and maintenance
- Acts as a customer liaison for the computing operation, communicating, resolving, and/or initiating the resolution of problems and concerns;
- Maintains records (inventory);
- Contributes to unit goals by accomplishing related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have at least one year experience in an office setting.
- Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to comply with written and verbal instructions.
- Duties require intermittent walking, sitting, standing, pulling, bending, stooping, and reaching to perform tasks.
- Must be able to safely lift as much as 50 pounds, and to push/pull mobile loads weighing as much as 300 pounds.
