Lab Clerk/Phlebotomist (ASPT)

ESSENTIAL TASKS/DUTIES:

(This list is a succinct summary of core duties only. Other tasks will be assigned): 

1. Draw and process patient samples.
2. Maintain, process and distribute patient reports, as well other specified documents.
3. Input data and prepare specimen send-outs.
4. Answer and direct phone calls.
5. Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory.
6. Assist in data retrieval for departmental reports.
7. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have High School diploma or equivalent
2. Must have and keep current a Phlebotomist certificate.
3. Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn technical procedures involved in Laboratory testing.
4. Excellent Communication skills
5. Good organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
