Environmental Services Supervisor

The Environmental Services Supervisor plans, organizes, Implements and supervises all hospital functions related to Housekeeping activities.

ESSENTIAL TASKS/DUTIES: (This list is a succinct summary of core duties only. Other tasks will be assigned)

1. Establishes standards for all housekeeping duties.
2. Interacts with department managers and supervisors to maintain optimum quality of required housekeeping functions.
3. Supervises and coordinates duties and work schedules of department personnel.
4. Maintains inventory levels of all supplies needed for housekeeping duties.
5. Follows and provides training regarding safety and infection control procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in housekeeping or a related field.
