The Environmental Services Supervisor plans, organizes, Implements and supervises all hospital functions related to Housekeeping activities.
ESSENTIAL TASKS/DUTIES: (This list is a succinct summary of core duties only. Other tasks will be assigned)
- Establishes standards for all housekeeping duties.
- Interacts with department managers and supervisors to maintain optimum quality of required housekeeping functions.
- Supervises and coordinates duties and work schedules of department personnel.
- Maintains inventory levels of all supplies needed for housekeeping duties.
- Follows and provides training regarding safety and infection control procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in housekeeping or a related field.
