Dr. Paula Denson, M.D.
A graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston Family Medicine Residency, Dr. Paula Schultz Denson has practiced in Tyler County for over 32 years. She has supported many families in the county by meeting the medical needs of each member regardless of age. She herself is married with two sons. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Denson continues to provide care for all from birth and up.
Dr. Allison Seale, M.D.
A former Colmesneil High School graduate Dr. Seale Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 2011. She completed her training at Utah Valley Family Medicine Residency in Provo, Utah a level 2 trauma center garnering experience in caring for newborns, pediatric, obstetrical, adult, and geriatric patients. She has spent the last 2.5 years practicing family medicine in Washington State. She is married with two boys and two energetic dogs. Having returned home she looks forward to may years of service in Tyler County.
Kathy Harris, MSRN, WHNP
Kathy Harris, MSRN, WHNP graduated from UTMB Family Nurse Practitioner Program and School of Nursing in Galveston, December 2007. Kathy received her Bachelor of Science Degree and Vocational Nursing Certificate from Lamar University. Mrs. Harris brings great experience and knowledge after working with Southeast Texas OBGYN for 12 years and having been an OB Nurse Educator. Mrs. Harris has been with TCH since May 2008.
Lauren Conner, P.A.
Lauren Conner, PA-C graduated from UTMB Physician Assistant Studies in Galveston December 2007 and was on the Dean’s list each semester. Lauren has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, minor in chemistry and psychology. She went to McNeese State University in Lake Charles where she achieved Honors Scholar and Magna Cum Laude. Mrs. Conner has a variety of experience around Southeast Texas and Louisiana and has had the honor of working at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Mrs. Conner has been with TCH since November 2016.
Cheryl Spell, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Cheryl Spell, FNP-C graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, Family Nurse Practitioner program in August of 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lamar University and Associates degree in Nursing with Cum Laude honors from Lamar College in Port Arthur, Texas. Mrs. Spell has 13 years nursing experience in emergency care and 21 years of experience as a field paramedic. Cheryl worked for 12 years as an Emergency Nurse and has been a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) for the last 8 years. Mrs. Spell has been with TCH since January 2020.
Dawn Yancey, FNP-C
Dawn Yancey, FNP-C graduated in May 2019 from Walden University with a Master of Science in Nursing and was board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in June of 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Lamar University in 2006. The majority of Dawn’s nursing experience has been in critical care, specifically the medical intensive care unit, and hospice/palliative care. Mrs. Yancey has been with TCH since January 2020.

The Tyler County Hospital Family Medical Clinic proudly serves our community. No appointment is necessary for sick and acute care only. Routine healthcare visits are available by appointment. TCH Family Medical Clinic is open Monday - Thursday from 8 am - 6:00 pm, Friday from 8 am - 5:00 pm
