My connection to the hospital is very strong as I was born in this very hospital. In 1995, it marked the beginning of a nursing career as an LVN graduate for the Tyler County School of Vocational Nursing going on to obtain a Masters Degree in my field of study. I’ve been fortunate to spend the last 21 years of my career at Tyler County Hospital beginning the latter as a staff nurse providing bedside care for our patients. In 2002, I was promoted to the Emergency Department Director, in 2008 to Chief Nursing Officer, and today CEO of Tyler County Hospital. Patient care started my career and will continue to be my focus. With my roots strongly planted in Tyler County, it is immensely important to me that Tyler County Hospital provides the healthcare needs to our citizens.
