Laboratory Services

Licensed laboratory technologist and technicians provide a variety of services at the on-site laboratory. Phlebotomy, hematology, chemistry, special chemistry, serology, and blood banking are all available to the patients of the Tyler County Hospital District. These aid in the diagnosing, monitoring and treatment of patients.

Additionally, reference laboratory services are offered. For a small drawing fee, patients can have the specimen collected at the hospital and sent to their insurances preferred lab. Other services provided include pre-employment drug screening and DOT screening.
