Our History
Our hospital is a beautiful 49 bed licensed acute care facility owned and operated by the Tyler County Hospital District. We began in 1950, dedicated to the memory of the men and women who served in the armed forces in World War II. Initially supported by the Baptist churches in Tyler County, we became self-supporting in 1955. We began our Vocational School of Nursing in 1954.
